Hudson Reid Folkerts was born in Houston, Texas on May 17, 1996 to Kirk and Mandy Folkerts. He was the third of four wonderful children, having 2 older brothers, Kolton and Landon, and a younger sister, Presley.

Hudson was a country boy through and through. In addition to having a deep-seeded appreciation for jacked up trucks, Hudson loved fishing, hunting and riding his dirt bike. He enjoyed spending time at his family’s ranch, where he got the chance to raise horses and help his dad tend to his tree farm.

Hudson had a passion for raising animals, and he was able to share this passion through his involvement in Tomball ISD’s FFA program. During his time with FFA, he raised a steer for his freshman year in high school and was in the process of raising another steer for his sophomore year when our Lord called him home.

To honor Hudson’s love for raising animals and keep his name and spirit alive, his family founded the Hudson Folkerts Memorial Foundation in 2011.
